Leading Change - Our Approach
The most efficient and effective way
to make positive change a reality in organizations is to engage
the entire system in the process. Our unique change methodology
is designed to involve as much of the organization as possible in
the planning, design and implementation of changes. The process
is based upon the premise that there is a great deal of wisdom present
at all levels of the company from the front line to the executive
offices. If you can leverage the best experiences and the aspirational
energy throughout the system, change can be created at an extraordinary
pace.
Our change methodology covers the following key steps:
Context - Initial Organizational
Needs Analysis and Review – Getting a clear picture of the
best aspects of how the organization operates today and the key
areas where people see need for change and growth.
Inquiry - System Wide –
Exploring key topics around the desired change using an organization
wide interview process to get input and ideas from all levels.
This stage often includes research with stakeholders outside the
organization as well.
Design – Developing a
clear design for the future. What change do we want to create?
What will need to be involved? How can we generate alignment around
the change?
Implementation – Creating
project plans to implement the designed changes. Rolling out the
plans to the whole system and working to promote maximum adoption
of the changes. Managing the execution of the changes with the
needs of the day-to-day business.
Momentum – Ongoing evaluation
of what is working best with the change process and tweaking the
process as appropriate. Tracking successes and progress and creating
new plans as appropriate.
In the end the process results in alignment, focus
and results, often beyond imagination.
"They helped us create the
best possible outcome given the situation. I
did not know it could be that good. They helped me challenge my
team to identify the legacy we wanted to create as our company
was being bought out. I think we are the only company that went
through this where we handed over something great."
